Clayton's Downtown Grill

When we were approached by Clayton’s Downtown Grill, they already had great branding, an amazing location, and they knew the food and beer were going to be amazing. They went through great lengths working with various chefs and brewers to ensure they were serving the best. In the restaurant industry, the success or failures of the launch can hang around for years after a business has opened.

Clayton’s Downtown Grill was formerly branded as Nature’s Way Cafe. They knew with the re-brand, and new direction of the restaurant, that the perception of their brand and the awareness of the re-brand online was paramount to their success. Working with our team, we cleaned up all of the admin associated with name changes and account changes and realigned the brand online with updated video and photography. Because their re-branding required entirely new social media accounts, we knew media production, ad campaigns, and content posting was going to be key to promoting brand awareness and motivating the community to check them out.

Our proposal consisted of a “Get Started Plan” that included a detailed marketing plan encompassing various ad creatives and formats, a hype video of the restaurant's grand opening, and event photography that was later used for content, ads, and their website. This plan was meant to fully cover their online social media needs during their opening when the timing was critical and they had the least amount of time to handle these tasks internally.

After working with us their first three months of opening:

  • 6,500 clicks on their ads at .12 cost per click.

  • 89,555 ad impressions

  • This exposure resulted in their page going from 0 to 2,548 likes in less than 60 days.

  • During this time period on Facebook alone, the engagement level was 12,907, including 1,033 shares and 1,527 comments. The engagement metric is especially vital to a new page as that is how the algorithm determines a content’s “worth”.

  • Approximately 70% of the online growth of Clayton’s Downtown Grill for the year occurred during the launch campaign.

Whether you are an existing brand who has never been online, an existing brand looking for a fresh start, or an established brand looking to up your content game, we can tell you: social media marketing works. This campaign generated on average a cost per click of 12 cents!
